Chennai: Veteran actor Parthiban has confirmed that he is playing a pivotal character in the untitled Dhanush-Vetrimaaran film. It was reported earlier that another prolific actor Pasupathy has also been roped in to play a significant role in the film.
The actor, who is awaiting the release of his directorial flick, Kadhai Thirakadhai Vasanam Iyakkam, which is slated to hit the screens in the first week of June, will join the movie once work pertaining to it is completed.
He says, “I’m glad to be on board for a film being made by the successful combo. I’m playing a positive character, a full-fledged role. However, it is too early to divulge the details of my character. Kadhai Thirakadhai Vasanam Iyakkam has two more songs left to be shot.”
The duo of Dhanush and Vetrimaaran are joining hands after the commercially and critically acclaimed film, Aad ukalam. The movie, hence, is carrying huge expectations from movie buffs.
