Mumbai: Rumour mills are abuzz with how the head honcho of Yash Raj Films, who is known to be a recluse, has finally found a solution to his media-shyness. According to close sources from the production house, Aditya Chopra has now roped in his wife Rani Mukerji Chopra to be the face of his production house.
“A cabin has been set up for Rani. She’ll be the creative director of YRF and will share the responsibility of running the show with her husband. While her brother-in-law Uday has been busy setting up their production house in the US, Rani will now be the face of YRF. In fact, she has already taken charge,” says a source close to the newlyweds.
However, there is a certain section of industry insiders who believe that Rani has been exercising this control ever since she began dating Aditya Chopra. It is only now that her designation has been officially announced to the YRF family.
A reliable source adds, “Rani and Adi have just returned to Mumbai after their hush-hush wedding in Italy. They hosted a reception for their close friends in B-town.”
