David Beckham's wife Victoria Beckham recently held a number of celebrations to see in her 40th birthday in style.
And just a few weeks later David Beckham is celebrating his own, but not quite such a milestone as he turned 39. Marking the occasion his sister Joanne took to Twitter to share a picture of herself with her older brother that she touchingly captioned: ‘I want to say happy birthday to the best brother ever! Very lucky to have such an amazing, kind person in my life x’
Thousands of the sports star’s fans took to Twitter to wish him Happy Birthday, as did two of his former football clubs.
Manchester United tweeted: “A future #mufc star was born on this day in 1975... happy birthday, David Beckham.”
And Spanish team Real Madrid added: “Wishing a very happy birthday to former Real Madrid player David Beckham.”
Meanwhile it was unclear how David spent his special day as neither him nor wife Victoria have made an reference to how they and their four children will be spending their day.
