Pawan Kalyan, Chiranjeevi campaign in Vizianagaram
Vizianagaram: AP Congress Election Campaign Committee chief K. Chiranjeevi and his brother Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, who is campaigning for the TD-BJP alliance, both campaigned in Vizianagaram district, the hometown of former PCC chief Botsa
Satyanarayana, on Saturday. While Pawan Kalyan campaigned in Vizianagaram town during the day, Mr Chiranjeevi came to the fort town in the evening. Last month too, the brothers had campaigned for their respective parties on the same day in the same region in Kolar. Targeting Mr Satyanarayana on his own turf, Pawan Kalyan exhorted the huge gathering at the public meetings to vote for TD in the district, while Mr Chiranjeevi campaigned for Mr Satyanarayana and his family.
Pawan Kalyan, who was on a whirlwind tour of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts, said that YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi are inexperienced politicians but want to become the chief minister and the prime minister respectively. He came down heavily on Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy and his family and said that Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy and his team grabbed lands in Telangana forcibly that added fuel to separate Telangana agitation. He said and Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy is the responsible for division of the state as he has a strong desire to beacome the chief minister. He said due to the dictatorial attitude of Mr Satyanarayana, curfew was imposed in Vizianagaram town during the Samaikyandhra agitation. He asked the voters to reject Congress and YSRC for development of Vizianagaram.
