Mumbai: Brewed in 60 seconds, this $13,000 vacuum powered tea-maker promises the perfect cup of tea every time.

Although the art of making tea has been until now, untouched by technology, this new tea-maker offers the perfect equipment to make one, reports Daily Mail.

According to Dean Vastardis, Bkon co-founder, the firm’s patented Reverse Atmospheric Infusion process infuses beverages through controlled negative pressure.

“Other brewing methods and devices pull or push water through the tea,” he said. “The Reverse Atmospheric Infusion changes the physics of extraction by controlling negative atmospheric pressure during the infusion process.” The machine is still in the testing phase and hasn’t been sold yet.

However, a small number of cafes are using this technology, including Starbucks Teavana pilot store in New York.
