Shahid's 'Haider' and Priyanka's Mary Kom locked for October 2 release

Mumbai: Shahid Kapoor's 'Haider' and Priyanka Chora's much awaited Mary Kom biopic have confirmed their release date as 2nd October, Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Phantom' has been postponed to an early 2015 release.

Though director Kabir Khan will finish shooting for 'Phantom' by September, he has left the release strategy to producers Disney UTV. According to reports, he will start his next film with Salman on November 9.

With regards to a clash with 'Haider', Omung Kumar, director of Mary Kom was recently quoted saying "I strongly believe that every film has its own audience. If the film is good, it will survive."
