Sonakshi's dad is very possessive which makes her deny her relationships

Karan Johar may deny the fact that Sonakshi and Shahid Kapoor are not dating each other, but the chemistry between the two actors is talk of the town.
They continue to be “good friends” and sources insist that they are in a “very good space” right now.
Sonakshi’s family, especially her dad is very possessive about his daughter, which is why the actress never really talks about her men.
She was earlier dating Bunty Sachdev, but denied that too. As for Shahid, he appears to be rather confused.
On one hand, he claims he doesn't want to date an actress and yet he seems to be developing a huge soft spot for Sona.
