JEE Main Result 2014: Countdown has begun for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2014 result

Mumbai: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains) 2014 Result is to be declared on May 3, 2014 by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Aspirants will be able to check their JEE Main Result 2014 soon.
Widely known as JEE Main, the exam is a common entrance assessment conducted for admissions in different engineering institutions for courses such as B. tech, B.E, B. Arch, and B. planning under the track of Ministry of Human Resource Development.
The JEE Main Exam was conducted first in 1960, the Mid-Day reports. JEE Main exam comprises four subjects including an English paper. The number of students appearing for the JEE Main exam has considerably improved over the years.
The paper-based exam was held on April 6 this year and nearly 13 lakh candidates appeared in the JEE Main Exam 2014 and online exams was conducted between April 9 and April 19.

There are two models of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main examination i.e. paper-based and online examinations. The pattern of the JEE Main Exam comprises of two papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates have the choice of opting between the two examinations. Paper 1 is for admission in B. tech (online and offline) and Paper 2 is for admission in B. Arch and B. Planning. These examinations are conducted through offline modes. Both examinations comprise of objective type of questions and approximately 1, 50,000 students appears for the JEE Main Exam (Joint Entrance Examination) every year.
The Answer Keys for Joint Entrance Examination 2014 (JEE Main 2014) was released by CBSE before the JEE Main Exam Results 2014. The Answer keys were released during the last week of April, 2014.
