High Court directs CBSE to consider putting AIPMT answer-keys on website in a month
Chandigarh: The Punjab and Haryana high court on Friday ordered Central Board of Secondary Education chairman to take a contemplated decision in a month on whether to upload All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) answer keys on the CBSE website before evaluation of optical mark recognition (OMR) sheets.
The AIPMT is scheduled on May 4. The orders were given by the division bench on a public interest litigation filed by a Chandigarh resident, Dr Arvind Goyal.
The petitioner also sought directions for the CBSE to make a provision for inviting doubts from the aspirants about puzzling questions and answers. Orders were also sought to put in place a provision for taking into account the objections by the subject experts so that rectifications, if any, could be made in the answer keys before beginning the assessment of the OMR sheets.
The court ordered the CBSE to take a decision on the issues raised by the petitioner.
