Producer believes in tweaking Kannada hits to suit the Telugu audience

Hyderabad: Producer Sridhar Lagadapati is casting Sudheer Babu and Nandita as the lead pair in the Telugu remake of the Kannada hit Charminar. These actors have worked together in Prema Katha Chitram before.
“The film will start at the end of this month,” says Sridhar. The film is about a man whose life is similar to the monument of Charminar.
Last year, Sridhar had adapted another Kannada film as Potugadu for the Telugu audience. About this trend, he says, “I have bought a few more Kannada hit films as I liked those subjects. We will tweak them a little to suit the Telugu audience.”
The producer is also getting the rights of the prestigious film Anjaan, directed by N. Linguswamy.
