A dream come true for director Rajay Sivanesan
Chennai: For Rajay Sivanesan, Kadhal Munnetra Kazhagam, his upcoming film is a dream come true, as he gets to wield the megaphone after being an assistant director for 12 years.
Billed as a romantic comedy thriller, the film is about how a youngster gets mired in a slew of troubles post his arrival in Chennai from Tanjore in search of a job.
“How he faces the hurdles in the company of a girl whom he falls in love with forms the crux of the story,” Rajay says.
“The movie has Vivanth and Sony Charishta, playing the lead roles. Produced by Sanjit Siva under the banner of Mathi Media Entertainers, Kadhal Munnetra Kazhagam has music scored by M. Fazil and Vinod Rajendran cranking the camera. The lyrics have been penned by Yugabharathi and Sakthi Saravanan has choreographed the action sequences.”
Rajay avers that he had been waiting for the right story to make into a movie despite having chances to debut in the past.
The movie will be shot in Chennai and Tanjore. Currently, the crew is busy recording the songs for the movie.
