Bajaj Auto bike sales decline marginally in April
The company had sold 3,00,827 units in the corresponding month of previous year
New Delhi: Bajaj Auto today reported a marginal decline in motorcycle sales at 2,99,636 units in April 2014.
The company had sold 3,00,827 units in the corresponding month of previous year, Bajaj Auto Ltd (BAL) said in a statement. BAL said exports were up 16 per cent during the month at 1,50,714 units compared to 1,30,329 units in April 2013.
In the commercial vehicles category, its sales stood at 31,893 units, down 26 per cent per cent, as against 43,351 units in the same month of the previous year. Total vehicle sales of the company last month stood at 3,31,529 units, down 4 per cent, as compared with 3,44,178 units in the same month a year ago, the statement said.
