BSP leader Kamruzzama Fauji is battling for life

Lucknow: In a shocking incident on Monday night in Sultanpur district, a young man set himself on fire and then embraced a BSP leader during a live TV debate. The youth succumbed to his injuries in Lucknow where he was brought for treatment later in the night while the BSP leader is battling for life.
According to police reports, a programme called ‘Janmat 2014' by Doordarshan was being shot at the Tikonia Park in Sultanpur when a young man, drenched in petrol, stepped out of the audience and set himself on fire.
He then rushed towards BSP leader Kamruzzama Fauji and embraced him. Before the people could realize what was happening the two men had turned into balls of fire. The youth, later identified as Durgesh was a history sheeter.
