Bandari Lakshma Reddy aims high to woo voters
Hyderabad: Bandari Lakshma Reddy of the Congress, who is contesting from the Uppal Assembly constituency, is a man on a mission to solve drinking water problems, provide good roads, underground drainage network and all other civic amenities to the colonies, bastis and slums in Uppal segment.
He has already promised the electorate to bring a junior college and a degree college in the constituency if voted to power. And the voters trust him to deliver all his promises. That the electorate are with him was evident as thousands of people voluntarily participated in the massive bike rally taken out by Mr Lakshma Reddy on Monday, the last day of campaigning.
While men participated on their bikes, women came in cars and jeeps, and others came out of their homes and joined the rally, in a show of support to Lakshma Reddy.
The bike rally passed through Chakripuram, Kushaiguda, ECIL crossroads, A.S. Raonagar, Moula Ali Housing Board Colony, NFC main road, Mallapur, Nacharam, Habsiguda, Street Number 8, Ramanthapur, Uppal Ring Road and Nalla Cheruvu.
Elderly women blessed the leader, recalling his brother’s good work in the constituency. His brother, Bandari Raji Reddy, is the sitting MLA from Uppal. Mr Lakshma Reddy said that people from all castes and communities were joining the Congress and extending support to him. “I have not depended on any star campaigners to boost my prospects. Almost all the voters identify with me. The voters are coming to me stating they will give me the largest majority in the entire Ranga Reddy district,” he added.
