Hyderabad: MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi sees ‘Hitler’ in Narendra Modi

Hyderabad: All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen party president Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday appealed to the voters to keep Hyderabad “safe from the communal forces.”

Addressing a public meeting at the Khilwath Grounds in old city, he targeted BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. Mr Owaisi said that Mr Modi was responsible for the genocide of Muslims and fake encounter killings in Gujarat. Mr Modi’s defeat will at least give solace to the victims’ families, he added.

Reminding people how even Adolf Hitler become a dictator after people brought him to power through an electoral process, Mr Owaisi said that Mr Modi will prove to be a “Hitler” if voted to power. Accusing the Majlis Bachao Tehreek of working against the MIM, he alleged that the BJP and RSS were funding the MBT to fight against the MIM.

Meanwhile, Akbaruddin Owaisi, the MIM’s floor leader, referred to the controversial statements made by BJP MP Giriraj. Mr Giriraj had said that Mr Modi’s opponents should be thrown out of the country. Mr Owaisi said in that case, the BJP must first initiate action against L.K. Advani and Uma Bharati, for openly opposing Mr Modi.
