Hyderabad: Superstar Kidnap is one of the most-awaited movies of the year. So when the film’s posters went viral on social networking sites, the industry as well as film critics from across the country appreciated the out-of-the-box poster designs. But the suspense still remains: Will Mahesh Babu be seen in the movie?
A source close to the film’s unit says, “As the title of the film suggests that Mahesh Babu is being kidnapped; the actor will be seen in the film, but as an animated figure. To ascertain if Mahesh Babu is really kidnapped or not, wait for the release of the film.”
After Rajnikanth’s animated starrer Vikrama Simha and the recent news about ANR’s computer graphics generated appearance in a song in Manam; Superstar Kidnap will be the third film this year, where an actor will be visible as an animated character.
Directed by Sushanth Reddy, Superstar Kidnap is currently in its post-production and the makers are planning for a May-June release.
