Mumbai: A while ago there were rumours doing the rounds about director Rohit Shetty approaching Kajal Aggarwal, the original Singham heroine, to make an appearance in the sequel too. But now the actress has denied the talks.
Singham was a special film for Kajal since it was her B-town debut and the actress was appreciated for her role. But she has made it clear that she isn’t a part of the sequel that stars Kareena Kapoor as the female lead opposite Ajay Devgn.
When contacted, she said, “I have no regrets that I am not in the sequel. The first part was beautiful and I am happy to have been a part of it. I have no complaints.” As of now she has a handful of South films in her kitty and is looking forward to start shooting for her next Bollywood film with Sharman Joshi.
