‘Power’ful Rs 2 crore sequence
Hyderabad: The shooting of Ravi Teja’s upcoming film Power is going on at a brisk pace. After shooting in Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai, the unit will soon move to Bangkok to shoot an action sequence.
Director K. S. Ravindranath (Bobby) said, “We are planning to shoot an important chase sequence in Bangkok and it is going to cost us nearly Rs 2 crore. Allan Amin, the action choreographer of films like Dhoom, Dhoom 2, Rang de Basanti and Singh Is King, is going to supervise this action sequence which will be shot on Ravi Teja, Subba Raju, Brahmaji, Ajay, Sampath and few other fighters.” The action sequence will be shot in Bangkok from May 3 to May 10, after which the unit will move back to Hyderabad to complete the shoot. In June, two songs will be shot in other foreign locations.
Power is being produced by Rockline Venkatesh and has Hansika Motwani as the female lead. Regina Cassandra also plays an important role in the film.
