Hyderabad: Madhuurima is back in Telugu cinema after a long hiatus with Kotha Janta, which is releasing on May 1. She plays the second lead opposite Allu Sirish.
Talking about a remix song of Chiranjeevi’s Atu Amalapuram, shot on herself and Allu Sirish, she says, “It’s a fabulous song and I enjoyed doing all the jhatkas. The song also suits the situation in the movie,”she adds.
About her character in the movie, she says, “I play a desi character, which is completely opposite to my real life.”
Madhuurima also informs that she speaks in a different slang in the film and the actress says that director Maruthi showed her videos of Silk Smitha to emulate. “I have been busy doing Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam films. So,
I am happy to do two Telugu movies back to back,” she adds.
