Hyderabad: Manam, one of the most awaited Telugu films of 2014, is making headlines with news of Amitabh Bachchan making a guest appearance in the film.
Big B himself confirmed the rumour on a social networking site on Sunday that he would be seen in a cameo in late legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s last film.
The status described his tight schedule and read: “First in the morning a dubbing for TeachAid, a programme to educate people on HIV and AIDS…then soon after to a reformed Filmalaya Studios, to do a small cameo for friend Nag from Telugu cinema, son of the legendary Late Akkineni Nageshwar Rao, for his film, the last film of his father...and thereafter to TV serial shoot...”
Manam stars three generations from the Akkineni family late patriarch ANR, son Nagarjuna and grandson Naga Chaitanya. The film is set for a May 23 release.
