Shakira has revealed that the balance of power is fairly equal in her relationship with football ace boyfriend Gerard Pique. The 37-year-old pop star said that in a relationship the couple have to be willing to give and take if it has to work in the long term.
She had earlier said that Pique doesn’t tell her what to do and that they discuss everything as a couple, as she imagines most partners do. Shakira, who has been with the Barcelona defender for almost four years, said that they have a beautiful relationship and one of mutual trust. The couple has one child together, a son named Milan Pique Mebarak , who was born in January 2013.
