BJP pressure got Telengana: Sushma Swaraj

Sushma Swaraj blamed Congress for the deaths of 1,100 youths
Hyderabad: BJP leader Sushma Swaraj on Saturday launched a scathing attack on the “corrupt” Congress, blaming it for all the ills plaguing the country and for the death of 1,100 youth in the Telangana movement.
“The Congress claims credit for the formation of Telangana. In fact, it gets credit for the deaths of 1,100 youth. Telangana was carved out due to immense pressure from the BJP and the BJP should get credit. Telangana and Andhra people should drive away the Congress,” she said during her whirlwind tour of Telangana.
“Please don’t forget your Chinnamma (aunt) who has helped in carving out Telangana.” Ms Swaraj did not spare TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao and accused him of eyeing the “CM gaddi” or a Union minister’s post by contesting in both Assembly and Lok Sabha seats.
