Telangana Rashtra Samiti to keep its poll pledges: Konda Vishweshwar
Hyderabad: Konda Vishweshwar Reddy of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti who is contesting from the Chevella parliamentary seat promised voters on Friday that the TRS will implement its manifesto to the last word to ensure that the Telangana of their dreams becomes a reality.
Mr Vishweshwar Reddy, along with the party’s candidate for the Maheshwaram Assembly segment, Manohar Reddy, participated in road-shows at Almasguda, Jillalaguda, Gurramguda, and Padmavathi colony in Maheshwaram.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Konda Vishweshwar Reddy said, "The manifesto of the TRS is a valuable document drafted to address the long pending problems of Telangana. It has been drafted with the help of experts from different fields, who know the exact nature of issues and the appropriate solutions."
"Therefore, the manifesto of TRS is realistic, unlike the manifestos of other parties which in most cases are impractical and non-implementable," he claimed. He urged voters to check out how much of their manifestos parties have implemented in the past.
“You will find that they hardly implemented anything and the promises have remained on paper. How can one expect them to fulfil promises that are just meant to hoodwink people and garner votes? These parties forget about their promises post elections. Don’t trust their manifestos,” said Mr Vishweshwar Reddy who promised that the TRS will be different.
During the road shows people came out in large numbers and greeted the candidates. They poured out their woes which the leaders promised to address.
