Shruti Hasan to sport grey hair

Hyderabad: Shruti Haasan is following the footsteps of her dad as she will be sporting an old lady’s look in her next Bollywood film. Kamal Haasan has played the role of an old lady years ago in Avvaishanmugi, which was a box office hit then.

Tigmanshu Dhulia has cast Vidyut Jamwal as the younger version of Irrfan Khan in the Bollywood flick Yaara. The team was searching for an actor to play the older Shruti Haasan, and immediately the actress volunteered to play her older self. She will be sporting grey hair in the film.

It’s to be noted that actress Madhuri Dixit has avoided playing elderly characters in the past. What’s more interesting is, Kangana Ranaut played mum to a 14-year-old in Sujoy Gosh’s Durga Rani Singh.
