Only TRS can protect Telangana interests, says KCR
Nizamabad / Hyderabad: TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that his party’s government would take over the Nizam Sugar Factory and conduct a probe into the privatisation of NSF during the Telugu Desam regime. TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu would be sent to the jail, he said.
He made a whirlwind tour of Nizamabad, where he urged the people to elect TRS Parliamentary candidates K. Kavita of Nizamabad and B.B. Rao Patil of Zaheerabad, and other Assembly candidates.
Mr Rao said only a TRS government was capable of protecting the interests of the newly formed Telangana state. He said Gujarat CM Narendra Modi and Mr Naidu were against statehood for Telangana.
Mr Rao also addressed a meeting at Narsapur in Medak district, where he said, “Mr Modi lacked the basic courtesy of greeting the people over the formation of the new state. Instead, flanked by two Andhras, Chandrababu Naidu and some actor Pawan Kalyan, he made anti-Telangana remarks like mother was killed and child Telangana left orphan.”
Referring to Mr Modi comments that Bharat Mata had wept over the bifurcation of the state, he said, “Modi be careful... this is Telangana. Bharat Mata has smiled and did not weep over bifurcation. Modi made a fool of himself in the eyes of Telangana people with such comments.”
He said Modi claim of 1+1+1 (Modi, Naidu and Pawan) turning 111 would go wrong and it would be zero.
