Defiant Prakash Raj sticks to dialogues
Hyderabad: Beleaguered actor Prakash Raj’s much-hyped press conference ended up a damn squimb as the actor continued to skirt the problem that got him fired from Srinu Vaitla’s Aagadu.
During the meet on Friday afternoon, the actor said that he had not done anything wrong. “I would like to tell my version of the Aagadu controversy. The first day I went for the shooting and I completed my scenes. I agree that there were some differences between the director and me. Maybe he didn’t like my performance, and he replaced me with some other actor. I accepted that too,” said Prakash Raj.
However, Srinu Vaitla’s team has clarified earlier too that the grounds for Prakash Raj’s dismissal was a clear case of “bad behaviour”.
But the actor sounded like a politician during the presser as he chose to remain even more vague claiming there was a “conspiracy” against him.
“I know the man (behind the conspiracy). He did a mistake and he wanted to cover up those mistakes, so he made his people file a complaint against me with the (movie) association. I am sure the truth will come out and everybody will know about the person behind all this, in a few days,” he said.
Prakash Raj did express worry over his sullied reputation.
“In the last few days, there have been so many stories surfacing. The issue has became big and there is now a complaint against me with the director’s association. I have come to know that they have decided to take action against me. I have been in the industry for the last 20 to 30 years and I feel that they should take my version too before they take a decision,” says the actor.
“The decision has not been implemented yet, but I still believe that I will get justice,” added Prakash Raj.
The association is set to take a decision soon. Also, Prakash Raj promptly walked away once the meet was over and refused to answer media queries.
