Nagi Villa owner rubbishes rumours of selling his house to Saif Ali Khan or Deepika Padukone
Mumbai: After rumours spreading like wildfire that Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan are interested in buying Nagi Villa, the popular bungalow in Mumbai, its owner Bobby Nagi has been receiving numerous calls enquiring about the property and the potential buyers from the industry, Absolute India reported.
The bungalow is very popular in the industry as it is frequently used for shooting films.
A source from the industry said, “There are lots of Bollywood celebrities eyeing the same bungalow, which is opposite Shatrughan Sinha’s mansion. Considering it’s one of the hottest properties in Juhu, most Bollywood celebrities have showed an interest in buying this property in the past. Saif has been in touch with brokers as he is interested in buying Nagi Villa since the past fiver years.”
According to reports Saif isn’t the only one who has his eye on the villa, Bollywood starlet Deepika Padukone, who lives in a plush apartment in South Mumbai is also considering buying the villa located in the western suburbs of Mumbai, for Rs 50 crore.
When asked about the rumours, Bobby said, “This is extremely weird. The reports that my villa has been sold to Saif or Deepika are completely factious. I haven’t sold it to anyone nor have any intention to sell the property. I have never met Said or Deepika personally for them to buy my house.”
Bobby who has been giving his bungalow for film shoots for the past 43 years believes it may be the builder lobby that’s playing the game of raising the property value and linking it with stars who want to settle down in Juhu scheme..
Saif Ali Khan responded to the rumours saying, “No. I have shot there a lot during the early years. It’s a nice house but I would buy something sea facing with trees in Juhu or not at al. Anyway, I live in Bandra now and I love my apartment. So no plans to move.”
