Rs 62 for 100GB
Smartphone and tablet users, mainly Android and iOS fans, can now store a whopping 100GB of data in the cloud. The service will cost you a miniscule $0.99 (approx Rs 62) which is a fee for a year. iDrive, an online cloud data storage service, is offering this service to Android and iOS users.
“You need an Android or iOS device to take advantage of this offer, but once you have your IDrive account, you can use it across all platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS,” claims the service provider.
Using the service, you can backup all your mobile data, including contacts, calendar events, photos, videos, SMS, call logs and apps. Sync documents between home/phone/tablet/office with ease. If you lose your device, crashed your PC hard drive, or simply migrated over to a newer device or PC, you can restore the data with a single click.
You can also backup your Facebook's photos and videos, and share files with friends and family over Facebook, Twitter and email. The data that is backed-up and restored are encrypted using 256-bit AES encryption with an optional user-defined key for additional security. The app is also available for Windows smartphones, Windows Phone 8 and above.
You can get up to 10GB for free with this app; however, if you need more storage, the prices are pretty cheap. As we mentioned above, $1 will give you 100GB, $24.75 will give you 600GB, which can go on up to 10TB at a whopping $1500 per year.
