Kishen Reddy slams K Chandrasekhar Rao for ‘insult’

Reddy said TRS chief was answerable to the people for insulting Mr Modi
Adilabad: Raising the caste issue, BJP state president G. Kishan Reddy criticised TRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao for insulting BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi by saying ‘Modi ledu gidi ledu’, only because the latter belonged to the backward community and came from a poor family where his father was a tea seller and mother worked as a house maid.
Addressing a public meeting here in Adilabad on Wednesday, Mr Reddy said that the TRS chief was answerable to the people for insulting Mr Modi. He added that the very idea of a poor person from the BC community becoming the PM of this country, was possible because of the Indian Constitution, its architect Dr B.R. Ambedkar, and the BJP. Mr Reddy praised Dr Ambedkar for Article 3 which paved way for the new Telangana state.
He reiterated that development of Telangana was only possible under the BJP and came down heavily on the TRS for claiming credit for Telangana state. Mr Reddy demanded to know the number of times Mr Rao had raised the issue of Telangana in Parliament in the last 10 years.
“How can a party with a single MP bring about Telangana state?” asked Mr Reddy, who also criticised the MIM for its communal agenda.
