The drug reduces cholesterol and triglycerides in blood
Hyderabad: Pharma major, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories has launched Fenofibrate capsules, a therapeutic equivalent generic version of Antara capsules,in the USA market.
The drug which is indicated to reduce cholesterol and triglycerides (fatty acids) in the blood was approved by theUnited States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA), stated DRL The Antara (fenofibrate) capsules brand and generic had US sales of approximately USD 74 Million MAT for the most recent twelve months ending in February 2014 according to IMS Health. Dr. Reddy’s Fenofibrate capsules, USP 43 mg is available in bottle counts of 30, and 130 mg are available in bottle counts of 30 and 90, the drug maker said.
