2000-year-old Roman tiles discovered
However, the artefacts’ original context remains unclear
Mumbai: Archeologists in England have excavated rare paw and hoof prints on Roman tiles that are speculated to be around 2,000 years old.
Among the artefacts that were found, one of the tiles is tainted with dog paw prints, and another is marked with the hoof prints of a sheep or a goat that trampled on the clay before it was dry.
According to Mashable, the archeologists say that the artefacts’ original context remains unclear.
