Muzaffarnagar: An 18-year-old girl has beenallegedly gangraped by two youths at Budhana town in the district, police said on Saturday.
According to the complaint lodged here, two youths took away the victim and raped her in a house on April 15. They also threatened her of dire consequences if she disclosed the incident to anyone, they said.
Meanwhile, one of the accused Mustakim has surrendered in a court and has been sent to a judicial custody, they said. A case has been registered and the victim after her medical examination has been produced in a court for recording her statement, police said.
Last evening, a group of people, including women protested last evening by blocking a road near the district hospital demanding justice for the victim.
