Irrfan demands Vishal Bhardwaj to remove him from ‘Haider’ posters
Mumbai: Irrfan Khan, known to be very strict with his script selection is now imposing new guidelines to his makers. For his upcoming film, ‘Haider’ where he has a cameo, Irrfan has made it clear to Vishal to not use his name or face on the poster and publicity material of the film.
Recently, Irrfan also had a word with Himesh Reshammiya and shared his concerns over the posters of ‘Xpose’. With just a cameo, he felt his name need not feature in the posters.
As for ‘Haider’, according to a friend of Vishal, this was discussed even before the film went on floors. “Irrfan and Vishal had this understanding regarding the poster of the film. Both agreed to the point that it misleads the audience if someone playing a cameo is featured upfront on the posters.”
Irrfan plays a ghost in the film and the actor has now flown to Hawaii to shoot for ‘Jurassic Park’.
