Raghurama Krishnam Raju is confident that if the BJP changes its candidate he will be given the ticket

Hyderabad: Raghurama Krishnam Raju who filed four sets of nominations on Thursday for the Narasapuram Lok Sabha constituency believed that he was in the run for tickets from both the BJP and the TD.
The BJP has already selected Gokaraju Ganga Raju and he filed his nomination as the BJP candidate just before Raghurama Krishnam Raju filed his nomination.
It is significant to note that before filing nomination, Mr Raghurama Krishnam Raju met TD chief Chandrababu Naidu. According to sources, Mr Raghurama Krishnam Raju is of the opinion that if the BJP changes its candidate he will be given the ticket.
Otherwise, he will contest as the TD candidate. When Mr Raghurama was asked from which party he had filed nomination he said, “I have filed nomination from my party.”
He said that his party is the BJP. He said the BJP had given the Narasapuram Lok Sabha seat to a hardcore Hindu fundamentalist who was not acceptable to the people. He said that he hopes the BJP may change the candidate, and he will be given Narasapuram Lok Sabha seat.
