Marmalade vodka is a bittersweet cocktail
Mumbai: For the longest time, a Screwdriver was the most popular classic cocktail ordered at brunches. Taking the cocktail’s fundamental concept of orange and vodka a step further is Chase Distillery’s hugely popular but not as easily available offering, the marmalade vodka.
Chase Distillery Marmalade Vodka is made by marinating fine English marmalade preserve with Chase Potato Vodka and infusing it with fresh Seville orange peel in a bespoke alembic copper pot still.
Declared to be delicious by connoisseurs of fine spirits, Chase Marmalade Vodka (40% ABV) is clear with a slight golden hue and isn’t as dark as spiced gold rum.
The experience of the marmalade vodka begins with a bang when the drink is poured in a glass. It exudes zesty oranges aromas instantly and that remains until most of the drink is consumed. It has a naturally rich bittersweet flavour and a warm velvety mouth feel.
The drink lingers and leaves one with an extended finish of citrus.
