Hyderabad: On Thursday, the gathering at the success party of the Allu Arjun-Shruti Haasan starrer Race Gurram was taken aback by the foul-mouthed tirade of actor Ali.
The actor, who is known for his outbursts, outdid himself as he reacted with unprintable words to actor Thaguboth Ramesh’s speech. Ali was unmindful of the fact that it is a norm for comedians to crack jokes and make people laugh at these events and even Brahmanandam had come up with a few jokes.
Apart from Ali’s outburst, the evening went quite well with Allu Arjun making a matured speech. An emotional Surender Reddy, the director, actually became teary eyed as he thanked everyone for supporting his film.
Especially thanking his wife, the director said, “I have worked for almost a year-and-a half on this film and irrespective of the time that I reached home or left, my wife never uttered a word and always helped and supported me. I was mentally prepared because of her and she is a part of this success.”
Allu Arjun, meanwhile, gave the entire credit for the film’s success to the director and the cast and crew. “When other artistes and technicians work well only then can I elevate my performance. I am not the only person responsible for this success. I may be the lead actor, but there are so many actors like Ravi Kishan, Bharani, Brahmanandam and others who worked hard. All that led me to do good work,” he said.
Allu Aravind too spoke at the function, he said, “A father will always be happy when his son’s film becomes a blockbuster.”
