Deepika complained of giddiness and looked pale before her performance

Mumbai: Deepika Padukone has been shooting round the clock. The back-to-back shooting schedule of Happy New Year, and her brand endorsements duties have taken a toll on the actress’ health.
On Tuesday, she flew to Dubai with Shah Rukh Khan for the opening ceremony of the IPL. The duo was scheduled to perform at the gala event but since both of them were shooting for HNY, they didn’t get the time to rehearse. “No actor can match Shah Rukh’s energy and Deepika was trying her best. On Wednesday evening, she complained of giddiness and looked pale before her performance. And since she didn’t have too much time to rehearse, she had to focus hard to get her act right,” says an eyewitness.
However, despite being overworked and fatigued, Deepika successfully completed her performance. “She was unwell and SRK and the rest of the team was concerned about her health but full marks to her for getting the job done without any complaints,” says an eyewitness.
