Chennai: Now, subscribe to a gamified mobile app to know what about the general social insights and to stay updated on tweets about the country’s biggest political extravaganza General Elections 2014.
Cutting through the internet clutter and making sense, this latest app from hopes to keep the Gen Y updated on the world’s largest democratic event. With over three million tweets on elections doing the rounds, TCS has tied up with Twitter to unveil iElect a gamified app on Android platform to make the entire election watching process fun and interactive.
“The TCS app harnesses the power of social media, big data, analytics and mobility to make sense of what seems to be a complex web of conversations,” said Pradipta Bagchi, VP and head corporate communication. iElect users will have access to fascinating insights and trends on a real time basis, he added. With growing smartphone users and almost 100 million first time voters in general elections 2014, the app will engage them to participate in the process with its gamified and interactive features, the TCS spokesperson said.
