Is BJP the world's worst on Twitter, spamming thousands?
Mumbai: Going by opinion polls, the Bhartiya Janata Party seem to be ruling the roost. However, the Opposition party may find themselves banned from Twitter very soon. The ongoing elections have not only seen them campaigning rigourously on social media, but also spamming away in the process, according to Vox.
The ongoing elections, which is being held in nine phases, sees Narendra Modi as a strong favourite to win this time. However, the task of getting votes by resorting to Twitter may cost them dearly. The BJP has been spamming everyone on Twitter. So if your tweet contains BJP, Narendra Modi, or NaMo, you are most likely to get an autotweet with response: 5 phases still to go. No need to be complacent. Make sure you vote. #ModiNeedsEveryVote, accompanied with a video.
