Mumbai: Anurag Kashyap has officially wrapped the shooting of ‘Bombay Velvet’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. On Tuesday, Anurag Kashyap shot with Ranbir Kapoor at Brabourne stadium, in Mumbai, for some time. Post which, the shooting moved on to Anurag Kashyap’s Phantom office in the suburbs.
Yes, the final shot of the film, involving Ranbir Kapoor was taken at Anurag’s office and the film was officially called a wrap. In fact, when Anushka had finished shooting her portion last week, a cake was brought on the set as part of the celebrations.
Now, the makers have decided to party together to celebrate the completion of the film. The party venue has been finalized and its one of the hotspots in the suburbs. The entire crew has also been invited for the party. Ranbir Kapoor is in Mumbai and has confirmed his presence for the party.
Anushka Sharma might not attend the party as she is currently in Jodhpur, shooting for 'NH 10'.
It will be interesting to see if Anil Kapoor’s son, Harshvardhan, who was an assistant director in the first schedule of the film, attends the party. With him making a debut in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra ‘Mirza Sahiba’, it doesn’t look like making media appearances will be allowed for him.
The film is slated to release on December 25, 2014 and the clash with P.K has been averted which is releasing one week before.
