AAP mission now limited to ‘rout Modi, Rahul’

Handbills and two toll - free phone lines have been started for people's awareness
New Delhi: As a change in strategy, the Aam Aadmi Party is not going to seek votes for its candidates but will make the electorate aware how important it is for the country to defeat BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha elections.
The party has started distributing handbills urging the electorate to analyse for themselves how important it is to defeat Mr Modi in Varanasi and Mr Gandhi in Amethi to change the political discourse of the nation. “If Mr Modi is defeated, you will see what is going to happen to the saffron party. And with Mr Gandhi’s defeat, the Congress will be wiped out,” a senior AAP functionary told this newspaper.
The newbie party has already started two toll-free phone lines to make people aware why it is necessary for the country to defeat Mr Modi and Mr Gandhi.
