‘It is the right time to release Prabhanjanam’

Hyderabad: NIT Warangal graduate Bhaskar Rao Vendrati is debuting as a director and producer with Prabhanjanam.

“It is a socio-economic and political thriller. It’s a message-oriented and thought-provoking film,” says Rao, adding, “I wanted to release the film two months back, but it’s finally releasing this Friday. This is the right time for the film’s release. The subject is based on the present scenario of political manifestos,” he says.

Ajmal of Rangam fame is playing the male lead while Aarushi and Panchi Bora are the female leads. “In Rangam, Ajmal changed from positive to negative. But in my film he changes from negative to positive,” adds Rao.
A week after the film’s release, he is planning to telecast it on a TV channel.
