If the buzz in Bollywood is to be believed, then Katrina Kaif has no dates to allocate for any Akshay Kumar films. Having worked with Akshay in several projects, including hits like Singh Is King, Kat had moved on to working with other leading actors, including Aamir Khan and beau Ranbir Kapoor. Our filmi sources tell us that Akshay is upset with Kat for turning down films with him.
The actress is currently busy shooting for Phantom with Saif Ali Khan and Jagga Jasoos with Ranbir. However, her other projects are yet to gain momentum, leaving her with quite a few slots open in her work calendar. So it is surprising indeed that when producers approached her for a film with Akshay, she cited date issues and declined.
“Katrina and Akshay have delivered several box office hits and their onscreen chemistry has been very popular with both filmmakers and audiences. However, it would seem as though Kat isn’t too kicked about working with Akshay as of now. While Akshay is keen to work with her, she has declined projects that would potentially co-star them, on the grounds that she doesn’t have the required dates. Maybe she wants to space out her films with Akshay and not take on too many projects at once,” our source added.
