“The Election Commission will have to prove its integrity,” Azam Khan said. “If I don't get justice I will knock the door of the court,” he said in a press conference on Sunday.

He added, “Congress hates me. I finished them in UP. I was convener of Babri Action Committee and very strongly I propagated how the Congress government helped the demolition of Babri Masjid, that routed Congress from UP.”

On April 11, Azam Khan and BJP leader Amit Shah were banned by the Election Commission from holding rallies and roadshows in UP after it took note of their speeches while campaigning.

FIRs have been lodged against Azam Khan after EC's intervention.
