Mumbai: In a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror, Akshay Kumar revealed that he was offered a seat in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, but politely declined the offer.
“I won’t lie, I was offered a ticket but I won’t name the party.”
The actor politely said ‘no’ to the offer, as politics isn’t his cup of tea.
“If I had contested on any party ticket, I would have ended up taking a stand. I didn’t want to do that simply because I am so not a political person.”
It was recently reported that actor will be seen in ‘Housefull 3’ with Abhishek Bachchan, after nearly 12 years.
