Chennai: Bollywood biggie Kareena Kapoor’s comment on Tamil popular star Suriya that she does not know who he is has caused a huge stir among the fans of the actor. They are expressing their anger to Bebo through online platforms.
Earlier, there were reports suggesting that Kareena was doing a special raunchy number alongside of Suriya in his upcoming film Anjaan. It also said that Bebo is finally making her debut in K’town with this Lingusamy directed film.
Reportedly, when she was asked if such an offer had indeed come in from the Anjaan team, the beautiful lady was blunt in her reply. What she said was enough to irk a Suriya fan.
“I don’t know where such baseless stories come from. I haven’t signed any such film. I don’t even know who Suriya and Linguswamy are. I’ve never seen them. I’ve zero interest in acting in non-Hindi films, whether it is down South or in Hollywood. How can I emote in a language that I don’t know? I love the work being done in South Indian languages, Marathi and Bengali. But I’ll have to learn these languages to act in them,” she had reportedly said.
Sources said that it was an ‘April Fool’ story carried by media. But some took it seriously and wrote that she is making her foray into Tamil. The irony is that Kareena is acting in the remake of Suriya’s Tamil blockbuster Singham 2 in Hindi along with Ajay Devgan. And her comment on Suriya is surprising!
