Now, 'smart' mirror to click your perfect selfie
Washington: In some good news for selfie-lovers, a 'smart' mirror that automatically clicks a photo when someone stands in front of it and smiles has been developed.
The mirror named SELFIE (Self-Enchancing Live Feed Image Engine) features a built in camera, a facial recognition software and an LED countdown timer.
The webcam and software detect the user's face and indicate a countdown with LED lights.
The two-way mirror, developed by US-based iStrategy labs, appears ordinary from the front and all the components are hidden behind it.
A custom vinyl graphic on the floor lets the user know exactly where to stand and smile to trigger the mirror.
The mirror can help click the perfect selfie as users can see themselves and pose accordingly without having to hold a camera or phone.
Once the photo has been clicked, the snap is automatically uploaded to Twitter.
