The stakeholders of the film met to discuss the release date
Mumbai: It's official, the much anticipated film, 'Kochadaiiyaan' will release on May 9.
It was earlier reported that the film was to release on May 1, and previously the film was slated to release on April 11.
According to media reports the stakeholders of the film met on Wednesday, April 9, to finalise the release date. They had two dates in mind that is May 1 and 10 but finally chose May 9 for the release for the film.
The film starring South legend Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone, is directed by Soundarya and uses 3D motion capture technology. The film has been made with a 125 crores rupees budget. It also stars Jackie Shroff and Shobana.
