Arizona: WWE superstar The Ultimate Warrior died on Tuesday in Arizona at the age of 54, according to reports.

The pro wrestler, whose real name was James Brian Hellwig, collapsed in front of his Arizona hotel room and was declared dead at the hospital.

The wrestling legend, who started in the ring way back in 1987 and counted Hulk Hogan among his many victories, died less than 24 hours after he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of Wrestlemania weekend.

'WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever, The Ultimate Warrior,' wrote WWE on their website.
