Vijayalakshmi gets inked
Chennai: Joining biggies, like Simran and Trisha, it’s now actress Vijayalakshmi of Chennai 600028 fame, who got inked recently on her legs. What’s more interesting is that, it’s not a regular tattoo, but a colourful peacock feather, which symbolises grace and beauty and positive feelings.
Vijayalakshmi, daughter of veteran director Agathian, says, “The peacock symbolises royalty, and having its feather on me makes me feel royal and glorious. Also, it makes me feel feminine. I can relate to the attributes of a peacock in all possible ways. Indeed, it was a painful procedure, and I had to put up with the pain for more than week, but it’s totally worth it.”
Vijayalakshmi who was last seen in Biriyani, is now busy shooting for her upcoming films, Aadama Jeychomada, and Vennila Veedu. She is also awaiting the release of Rendavadhu Padam which is directed by C.S. Amudhan, and stars Vemal, Aravind Akash and Richard playing the lead.
